A statement posted to Twitter by Live Nation read, "We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington ". Machine Gun Kelly on Facebook mourned Bennington but said he would return to the stage with a concert Sunday in Las Vegas.

In addition to Linkin Park, Bennington was a member of Stone Temple Pilots starting in 2013 and lasting until 2015, when he left to spend more time with his family and "focus solely on Linkin Park". The title song from the album included the lines, "Who cares if one more light goes out?/In a sky of a million stars/It flickers, flickers/Well I do".

It is truly a sad day especially for the diehard fans of Linkin Park. His body was discovered shortly before 9 am. Linkin Park were also scheduled to launch their North American tour on July 27, which has now officially been canceled. The Linkin Park 'One More Light North American Tour' has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. I can't imagine a world without you in it. I pray you find peace in the next life.

"When I was young, getting beaten up and pretty much raped was no fun", he told The Guardian in 2011. "Making this record was not only great for us creatively but great for us as people too".

"We send our deepest sympathies to his family, band mates, friends and fans".

Blink-182 have announced the cancellation of their forthcoming 'Blinkin Park' tour. He had six children from both of those wives, as well as a previous relationship with Elka Brand. I can't f***ing believe this is real. "No wonder I just went completely insane for a little while". "It just would not be possible", it said. "I remember thinking that I wanted to be left alone".
